Graduation ceremonies were held on Sunday, January 18th, at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Grand Ballroom. The Commencement Address was given by Veterans' Affairs Director L. Tammy Duckwork. She spoke candidly about her military service, and the compassion and selflessness of one woman, a mother and wife accompanying her injured husband back to the US. The woman, tending to her wounded husband, also whispered words of encouragement to Ms. Duckworth for the duration of the trip. She also encouraged us to share our talents with others, and to serve our country in whatever capacity makes the best use of our gifts.
